It's taken a fair while, but it seems that the World Wide Web is finally ready to embrace audio.


Previously web developers have had to depend on Flash, but with the arrival of HTML5 it seems that interesting audio functionailty built right into a site's code. Check out this tantalising HTML5 audio visualisation video from www.storiesinflight.com.





Apparently the visualisation looks much better on the site itself, though you'll probably need to download the latest fully patched beta version of your browser to see it in action.

The results are in and MusicRadar's quest to find out what the most popular DAW is has come to an end. And it was certainly a surprise to us to find out that the bloat-free and inexpensive Reaper from Cockos Incorporated came out the clear winner with 34% of the vote.
